How often do people sit and realize what they do have? Most of us, me included, focus on what we don’t have. It’s almost as if most of us are negative by default. Why is that? Society? Upbringing? We should be more thankful for what we do have, and take what we do have and make the best of it.
The fact that you got up this morning is a reason to be thankful. Be thankful for a new day so you can move forward, right wrongs, make changes, live the life you want to live. It takes effort on our part, that’s for sure.
So while everyone is spending time with family and occasionally thinking about what they are thankful for, stop and think about what you do have, and not what you don’t have. And also think about what you are going to do with the extra time that you were given. Don’t keep playing the same old song, over and over. Evolve. Advance.
“Some people are always grumbling because roses have thorns; I am thankful that thorns have roses”. – Alphonse Karr

Thank you. You do the same. And thanks for reading and visiting, I truly do appreciate it, Michael.
It’s hard to search out knowledgeable people on this subject, but you sound like you realize what you’re talking about! Thanks
