How many of us are guilty of getting in our own way? I know I have been. And what makes it even better is that a lot of us always try and find an external cause to most of our problems. Now I’m not saying that external forces can’t cause or play a part, but sometimes we can add to, or be part of the problem.
You are depressed, blaming the world for all your short comings, missed opportunities, and other dilemmas. What have you done to keep yourself out of that negativity? Help comes to those who help themselves. Stop, look at yourself and your situation, and take the initiative to change you, and your surroundings.
It gets very tiresome doesn’t it? Living in mediocrity, spinning in circles not getting anywhere. I know in the past that was the case with me, but no more. We do have the power to change. We do have the power to make it through rough times. Ultimately it is up to us to get back up after we fall and become the solution, and not part of the problem.
“The greatest glory in living lies not in never falling, but in rising every time we fall”.- Nelson Mandela
Now Playing: “Falling” by Staind
nicely put.you just have to make a choice not to be a victim of circumstances…..
Right. We either choose to be happy, or we choose to be miserable. It’s ultimately up to us, no one else.
