So much goes on in life that it can be overwhelming at times. Especially when things seem to be falling apart. For me, when things went south, I felt like the walls were coming down. All my stability, comfort, everything, fell to the ground. And of course, we create that tunnel vision and we can’t see past the hurt and pain. That was me. That is you.
But, we can heal and move on. What comes down can be rebuilt again. It may take time, but brick by brick, piece by piece, it can be done. And once that happens, you will be stronger than before. Another thing to keep in mind is that you must start with a new foundation, a strong foundation to build upon.
So, we should never give in to whatever knocks us down. You, and I are strong enough to get through this. Lives that are left in rubble, abandoned, can be brought back bigger and stronger than ever. And even if something, or someone, comes along and tries to knock you down again, know that you are strong enough to build yourself back up again.
“Don’t give up. There are too many nay-sayers out there who will try to discourage you. Don’t listen to them. The only one who can make you give up is yourself”. – Sidney Sheldon
