Everyone has done things they wish they hadn’t. We all have regrets. I’m no exception. I’ve made mistakes. Small ones, and not so small ones. There are things said and done that we wish we could take back, but once they’re out, they’re out. So what do we do?
Forgive ourselves. Forgive others. Let all of that go. What good is it to play things over and over in our minds? Why beat ourselves up? Sure we can use the past as a reference, as a guide to help us know what NOT to do, or even how to handle a situation. Everyone makes mistakes. Everyone needs to let go and forgive. That goes for you, and even for those who wronged you.
It’s not easy at times I know. But think about it. Why carry that burden? Let go and move on. Forgive yourself and move forward. If there’s something you beat yourself up for, forget it. If someone did something to you, forget it. Free yourself. Make the wrongs right, inside and out.

Great post Joey! I love your writing style and choice of topic.
Thanks. I just sit and write what comes to me. Secrets out 🙂
Forgiveness sure makes life a lot easier and the weight on your shoulders a lot lighter. It takes too much energy to hold a grudge.
Great post!
Thanks Lady J.
I completely agree with you. Life is too short to hold grudges and not forgive. Why take on an extra burden when you don’t have to?
