We all experience different emotions at different times. One thing we have a habit of doing is putting ourselves in a small box, which limits our growth and ability to overcome and heal. It slows us down, not letting us become better people, making new situations for ourselves.
Another thing we do is play the victim and act as though we are the only one that bad things happen to. Now we all know that’s not true. There is a saying that states that there is always someone out there worse off than you. And I suppose it’s true. There’s always someone worse off, and always someone better than us at something.
May not sound great, but its truth. We need to be true to ourselves, and to others. We are all human. We all go through things such as love, hate, regret, etc. We are not alone. We all need to realize it, and ALL become better people. Not only would it be good for us, but good for the whole human race as well.
“Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful people with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent. The slogan “press on” has solved and always will solve the problems of the human race” – Calvin Coolidge
