One thing we all need to realize is that sometimes we are the ones who make our problems worse. Yes, I know, life isn’t always easy, and some circumstances look as if there is no solution. Been there, done that. And I’m sure a lot of you have too.
But instead of laying down, allowing ourselves to be beaten, and let’s face it, become somewaht “losers”, we should try to find the positive and get through it, bettering ourselves in the process. We constantly lie to ourselves. I’m not good enough, I’ll never get over this breakup, things will never get better, etc, etc. Does taking on that mindset really make sense? Nah.
Let’s not be victims. Let’s not have pity on ourselves and not work on having life the way we want it. Refuse to be a victim, refuse being a loser. Reject all those negative ideas and replace them with positive ones. We need to stop with the lies. The lies we tell ourselves.
“Self-pity is our worst enemy and if we yield to it, we can never do anything wise in this world.” – Helen Keller
