We sometimes think we have everything figured out, don’t we? Life has a funny way of throwing a “curve ball” at us from time to time. How do you deal with it? Do you deal with it at all? It’s easier to run and hide, than to stand and fight.
Not only do we all think we have everything figured out, we also try to force things, we try to change things that sometimes are not our business to change, and we also have a habit of trying to make the square peg fit into the round hole. What’s going to happen, is going to happen. What’s meant to be, is going to be.
So let’s worry about ourselves and how we are going to make our lives better, teaching ourselves how to deal with whatever comes our way, and accept the things that are meant to be.
“Acceptance is not love. You love a person because he or she has lovable traits, but you accept everybody just because they’re alive and human.” – Albert Ellis
